Effective marketing is a vital tool in promoting the Nottingham city centre brand to local, regional and national audiences. Below are some of the activities carried out by the BID under the Promoted City stream of delivery.
IT’S IN NOTTINGHAM BRAND
Nottingham BID’s marketing activities take place through the dedicated It’s in Nottingham consumer brand. This includes a fully responsive website, social media channels and email subscriber database. BID businesses can send in their messages and content to be featured on these channels to reach our audience.

IT’S IN NOTTINGHAM CAMPAIGNS
Through the It’s in Nottingham consumer brand, a year long calendar of events and campaigns are delivered to promote different sectors and linking into nationally and locally relevant times of the year, such as Easter, Halloween and Christmas. There are lots of opportunities for BID members to get involved in and benefit from these campaigns, and there will be standalone meetings where businesses can help shape these activities.

Nottingham BID is committed to working in partnership with other marketing organisations in the city, including Nottingham City Council and Marketing NG to work towards our shared visions for the city. We also work in partnership with existing and emerging events in the city such as Craft Beer Week to support organisations doing great work to bring visitors into the city.
